Good for her.
Its a shame she didn't have a playbill on the stage to kick at them, cause they deserved it.

See I heard that Patti got an axe and personally chased them out of the audience.
I'll have them clawing at eachother, like drag queens at a wig sale"

Didn't she do that at City Center?

For her birthday, I want to buy her a digital camera. Just for irony's sake.
Some people paint, some people sew, I meddle.

It's not wise to incur the wrath of Patti LuPone! from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

What the hell? I didn't know she was an usher now, too.

I wonder if she'll do/say anything tomorrow at the closing performance if people try to take pictures or video of the curtain call/speeches.

I think that Patti should patrol the aisles during every performance of a show with an obnoxious 13 year old fan base, and whack them when they start yelping at inappropiate times.

She already has the ushers coming all the way down front to watch the audience during that number. Ugh.

She is a brilliant performer, but she is absolutely bat sh*t crazy!

Wasn't the incident a few months ago a lie? This sounds semi-real.

This is real. I have a friend who was there and she just told me all about it.

Isn't that kinda unproffesional...?
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.
"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."

- Omg. I didn't know that was her request? I was in the mezz, and I thought the usher just wanted to watch the number.

A report on ATC from today mentions nothing of the sort:

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

My guess is that it happened in the evening.

Yes, ljay, that's by request. Also, the time when she screamed at the man with the camera during/after Rose's Turn was a true story.
