No..I don't think it would be offensive at all, I know a few non Jews who have done it and the Jewish in the crowd were the ones howling. No idea about Shiksa...

Shiksa means non-Jewish. Not offensive to sing it if you aren't.

It is considered an offensive term depending on who's saying it. Who knows. I guess it depends on who you are, you know?

In my family, shiksa is a whore.

Well, it's a non-Jewish girl, but from the outside, Jews consider non-Jews to be dirty and, well, slutty.

"Why can't you find a nice Jewish girl instead of spending all your time with that shiksa!"

Shiksa is a non-Jewish girl but (at least according to my family) she's usually a very attractive blonde

I've always felt shaygutz was much more derogatory . And frankly, Norbert who sang the role originally ain't egzacly barmitzvah, and NObody finds him singing it offensive!
