Oh Ray, You know way back in 1979 - I wouldn't even date a boy unless he knew "Sweeney Todd" by heart! I had to have someone that could sing back to my incessant Mrs. Lovett singing, LOL!!

Posted: 1/10/06 at 1:12amI don't sing in the shower, simply because I get up before 7, and my brother would be able to hear me, easily and he would beat me up.

Posted: 1/10/06 at 1:39amI guess I should add you cannot do the cartwheels during the "Hot Honey Rag" in the shower, I have some great alternate Fosse moves though, that work very well in their place!

Posted: 1/10/06 at 1:49amJim, I think at least the parents of 20 13 year-old Wicked lovers blocked this web site from their kids' computers due to the X content of some of the posts. I'm always open to dancing Fosse in the shower with someone else though, especially that dance from the movie All That Jazz that was supposed to be the choreography from Chicago, I believe in the show Fosse they called it Airotica or something, whatever, H-O-T. Jim = Kinky

The number was "Take Off With Us". No X, Just a little suggestive like Fosse. You cannot dance Fosse without innuendo.
Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Posted: 1/10/06 at 2:15amIsn't Take Off With Us the one with the feathers that came after Razzle Dazzle? I don't remember exactly the title of the number, I just remember it was a very sexual number. This is the best thread-jack ever!

"Take off with Us" is from "All that Jazz" and when the beat picks up, they get nekkid and the producers worry & sweat! I LOVE IT!
Oh yeah, p.s., sorry bout the thread jack, But it was fun, I mean, it was quite pleasurable - wasn't it?

Posted: 1/10/06 at 2:27amIt's "All I care About Is Love", allthatjazz. "Take off With Us" was in the movie All That Jazz, not Chicago. But Jimmyrae, that kinky guy, could've told you that.

Posted: 1/10/06 at 2:31amI know, sorry, I should've specified, I meant in the show Fosse. On the DVD they do Razzle Dazzle with Ben Vereen and the ladies with the feathers, and then they go into a number from All That Jazz with more ladies with feather fans, I thought that number was called "Take Off With Us"

Jimmyrae beat me to it. I never saw Fosse, but didn't think "Take off with us" was in it.
Speaking of feathers and kink, I'm sure you all know the difference b/w sensual and kinky? Sensual is when you use a feather in sex. Kinky, you use the whole chicken.
Now how's THAT for athreadjack (and a really bad joke)?
Okay, I'm sorry.

Posted: 1/10/06 at 2:49amIt was actually quite funny, and quite THE thread-jack. I can't get over it though. Poor people that have come to this thread trying to post their shower songs and have come across our conversation of Fosse in the shower and chickens,ewwwwww. Anyways, Jim is the instigator, he started it all.

lol. i'm guessing i skipped an entire conversation because by the time i got to the end of the thread, i got so confused. hehehe
anyways, shower songs....there are a LOT. my favorite one is "On My Own." i once tried singing "Defying Gravity" in the shower but almost killed myself by chugging down some water. note to self: it's dangerous to sing belty songs in the shower.

Posted: 1/10/06 at 12:36pmI find myself singing "If You Hadn't But You Did" even though it is for a female singer. I also recently sang "All That Jazz." (Note that I'm a guy, weird, huh?)

Posted: 1/10/06 at 3:31pmI always sing "There's Always Me" (ASU) in the shower. When i get to the "big finish" my mom flushes a toilet so i get a blast of hot water and shut up.
