In London, I was seated on the 2nd or 3rd row in the theatre and Ruthie Henshall and Ute Lemper each threw a rose on my lap, for CHICAGO.
Also, at the West End - towards the end of CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, some seats felt the shower of sparkly confetti-like stuff - and I was right in the middle of it.
On Broadway - at the closing performance of THE BOY FROM OZ - they must have thrown a ton of sparkly confetti from the ceiling as I was the recipient of a lot of it - on my hair, my face, my dress and everywhere else
Did I get a towel from other peformances ? Nah - but I did get a kiss from Hugh for being an "unwilling" Bicoastal victim
"Oy.... Yes, the infamous Chicago roses.... I've got 21 of them to my name... maybe I should give some back for re-use jk "
or give em to the less fortunate

I took my friend to LSOH for his birthday, and got us front row center tickets, and during "The Meek Shall Inherit", when the Urchins are scattering for the money falling, some money fell into my lap and his. We still laugh about this because Trisha Jeffrey bent down from the stage and ripped the money out of his hand. It was very amusing.

I dont remember the streamers in Wicked. Hm. lol
In a production of Annie Get Your Gun, Annie shot something out above the audience, and feathers came down from the ceiling. That was fun
I'd imagine Good Vibrations probably has something...
Any Dame Edna Everage show with the gladiola finale.
I was just reading through this string and couldn't believe it took this long to mention the grand Dame's glads! It's almost as funny to watch the audience leaving the theatre at the end of the show. It looks like at least half of them walk out waving those big glads!
I remember Marian (the librarian) would toss a rose into the water under the footbridge. Sometimes it ended up in the netting over the orchestra pit but many times it ended up in the audience.
(I managed to get a rose the first time I saw Chicago.... and never again!)

In the Kander & Ebb revue THE WORLD GOES ROUND. Karen Ziemba would throw a garter during "All That Jazz". Actually, she kind of shot it like a rubber band, always aiming at some guy in the second or third row in the center section. If I had been seated there and had been lucky enough to catch it, I damn sure would have kept it!

I got poked in the eye at Oh, Calcutta!
Some things that get thrown into the audience in Cookin:
-A full plastic garbage bag
-Plastic balls
-Rice
-Carrots
Among other things.
at the end of fame the cast throws their rolled up diplomas into the audience - believe me - i fought the man next to me for it - they actually say fame inside and live forever with the high school name and i think the date - can't remember and it's not by me right now
In Sugar Babies in the Act Two opener the girls on the swings flicked their garters out to the audience during Keeping Myself Available For You.
'You're not really supposed to take the key at Rent. The guy who comes from underneath the stage to retrieve it will beat you with his cane if he thinks you're trying to steal it.'
Well maybe they should get their actors to stop chucking them offstage then shouldn't they??? It practically landed at my feet! I have greatly contributed to Rent over the years, seeing the show countless times and buying tons of merchandise. I should at least be able to keep the key which was so rudely flung in my direction

And plenty of confetti and balloons as well.
Yesss, The Chicago roses.
When we went over the summer. Terra practically threw one to my mom who was in the second row. But the gay guy next to her like reached in front of her and caught it, he was a little too excited he caught it.
This is what I know:
Hairspray-When Edna comes out of the Hairspray can, streamers fly into the audience
Beauty and the Beast-Streamers fly into the audience at the end of Be Our guest
Peter Pan-At the end when they took their bows, after Peter bowed, she flew into the audience throwing "pixie dust", I actually caught some

In LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, plants weren't thrown into the audience in the finale. But Audrey II (at her biggest size) did stretch out over the first few rows in the theater and attempted to eat audience members. It was a riot!
"In Sugar Babies in the Act Two opener the girls on the swings flicked their garters out to the audience during Keeping Myself Available For You..."
Thanks for letting me know that. Hopefully if I see it at the theater near me, I can catch one.

When Toxic Audio gets audience members to come on stage, they get a complimentary CD. Not "thrown," but if they were, it would hurt so it makes sense.
