Shows that added songs or scenes after opening

The two that come to mind are Disney's Beauty and the Beast "A Change in Me" and Newsies "Letter from the Refuge",

It seems Addams Family completely revised their show on tour, maybe while on Broadway. I saw it on tour and on Broadway, and it was almost a completely different show.

I know there are more, but I am having troubling finding them.

Wasn't Our Little World added mid-run to the original broadway production of Into the Woods? I heard somewhere else though that it was written for the original London production, so I don't really know.

While it wasn't on Broadway, Sondheim added "Something Just Broke" to Assassins after the initial production and recording.

Also Sondheim has made numerous changes to "Merrily We Roll Along" through the years adding songs (including Growing Up) and dropping them (The Hills of Tomorrow and others).

And Follies has changed multiple times. Most significantly, the London production that added new songs (like Country House) and dropped them (The Road You Didn't Take). "Ah But Underneath" was added for a non-dancer, replacing Lucy & Jessie - and is still commonly used in that situation, although the other London changes were discarded. Bolero d'Amour is usually dropped these days. The book itself has been changed many times. By most accounts not for the better.

In the opposite direction, The Lion King cut a song (The Morning Report) a few years back from all productions. Sadly, it was one of my favorites.

I never realized it was cut. I definitely know it's on the album.

I've never warmed to "Ah, But Underneath!" Probably because I'm one of those who saw the OBC of FOLLIES (twice), and never forget the synergy of Smith and Bennett in "Lucy and Jesse." Smith was no dancer -- the number was staged so that most of the movement was in her upper body and arms. But it was electric and thrilling. The recent revival referenced it (more in DC than by the time it got to NYC) but the original is still -- well, one reason "Loveland" ignited.

I remember reading in "Finishing the Hat" that Domina got a second number during Act 1 of the LA Forum ("Farewell"Shows that added songs or scenes after opening because they needed to expand the role for Nancy Walker. I think they should keep it in all the time- Domina is such a great character part.

Fade Out Fade In changed a bit after opening, adding the song "Notice Me" for Dick Patterson, and replacing "Lila Tremaine" with "A Girl to Remember" for Carol Burnett. The opening number ("The Thirties," or "Oh, Those Thirties"*) was also eventually cut.

For Baker Street, "I'm in London Again" was replaced by "Buffalo Belle" after opening.

For Hello, Dolly!, "Come and Be My Butterfly" was eventually replaced by "The Polka Contest." And when Merman went in, Jerry Herman added "World, Take Me Back" for her.

The scores for Jekyll & Hyde and The Scarlet Pimpernel seemed to change weekly during their runs.

Victor/Victoria also changed songs for its replacement leading ladies. "Louis Says" was cut entirely early in the run.

It was written for London and was never in the Original Broadway production.

Mary Poppins replaced Temper,Temper with Playing the Game after a few years on Broadway.

Playing the game turned out to be a little bit more playful and less scary.

Wicked went through multiple changes a few years into the run, with additional dialogue added to flesh out Fiyero's relationships and revisions to a few of the musical numbers, most notably "Wonderful." I think that was the latest into a sit-down Broadway run I had heard of not only cuts but additions being made.
