Hi! I'm new here. I am planning a trip to NYC either in feb, march, or april. I would like to see Wicked one last time before ms. Thompson leaves. I am thinking of seeing about 2 other shows. I have already seen hairspray, rent, wicked, millie(not that it matters) and phantom of the opera (which I MAY be interested in seeing again). Can anyone suggest some good, fun shows? Preferrably not jukebox musicals?

I would see some Original Cast Musicals like "Dirty Rotten...", "Spamalot", or "Little Women" so that you can root for your favorite show in the Tony race! Plus all of those shows have VERY talented actors.

Hi!

If you haven't seen Phantom with Hugh Panaro as The Phantom, I would definitely try to squeeze that in. He's quite good.

See "La Cage". It's wonderful fun. Great music, wonderful singing, and those Cagelles are too good to believe!

The 25th Annual County Putnam Spelling Bee

One could argue it has gotten better advace praise than Spamalot.

I agree completely, Priest. What could be better than seeing Willaim Finn's new musical?

It's gotten great buzz, and is sure to be better than the majority of stuff on B'way right now.

So many:
Q- One of the most original and wonderful shows on Broadway.
Hairspray- Fun
La Cage- Great costumes, music, dancers. Loved it.
I can't wait for Spamalot!
Have fun.
Also, you might want to see Forbidden Broadway last. Save the best for last!

But, Margo, the voices are so friendly.

And they have good taste.

Priest, my good buddy, feel free to send me a PM anytime those voices start a-calling.

As for suggestions: AVENUE Q, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, SPAMELOT< DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, and anything Corine2 suggests. She has EXCELLENT taste!

Taste is so subjective, but two shows I am excited about are the Lincoln Center Theatre offerings, DESSA ROSE and LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA. Both have great pedigrees.
