You may get more hits on the thread if you put they announced the cast list as well. Concerning the cast list, I forget who did we say was the standby for Shrek?

I definately want to see this. Tesori is one of the best composers currently and I really cannot wait to hear her music for Shrek. I was wondering thought, do you think there will be discounts for Shrek when getting closer ot the date or do you think the name will sell it enough so there wont be any discounts? Thanks.

There will not be discounts before it opens. I can pretty much guarantee that.

The tryout is this summer in Seattle.

Don't be so sure.

Does anyone know how the view is from the second row center orchestra? Is the stage really high? I'm looking for tickets for January and those were the first ones that came up. The next best were in orchestra row O, and then on the sides.

I sat there for THE COLOR PURPLE and the view was amazing.

Glad to see that Shrek (unlike Billy Elliott) is not going for new highs in ticket prices -- $111.50 on weekdays and $121.50 on weekends.

I've sat in the front few rows of the Broadway, they're great seats. Also got 2nd row center for Shrek, day before opening.
