They're are going to have to downsize a lot! A little quick for a tour if you ask me...

I think this would do really well on tour.
I am surprised by this. it is a very technical show and will be hard to tour and expensive. They haven't proved to be a hit on Broadway yet, I'm surprised they announced a tour.

My guess is, the tour will be a series of extended stops in large markets like Chicago and Toronto rather than the typical two-week engagements most tours rely on.
Although it's a tech heavy show, it could conceivably be toured. Most of the elements don't rely on theatre infrastructure such as flies and traps, but the deck, which most tours usually bring along with them anyway. The main issue would be wing-space if anything.
They're only announcing it now to secure a few road votes -- if they even get nominated. Wishful thinking if you ask me.
