What ? how does he own a mansion?
How the hell does he own a mansion??? ... that house is GORGEOUS
Insane!
that is a great looking house. jealous!
I didn't realize he was doing so well. Good for him!
I live down the street from this house, it is not all that impressive in person... sure looks good in pictures though...
Who did Shuler play in Les Mesiarble? I don't remember that show.
My town is adjacent to Montclair, and while that's a beautiful house, 'manse' is stretch. It's a nice, big house in a neighborhood filled with nice, big houses. There are real manses in Montclair, but this isn't one of them.
It's freaky when things like this get posted and you realize how many posters from this board & actors actually live in towns right next door to you.
And I'm with madbrian on the size. Nice place, but not mansion standards in the area.

I swear, I initially read this as "Sherman Hemsley", and thought, "Is he movin' on up to the East Side?"
And it continues to blow my mind that there are houses so large that one three times the size of the house I grew up in isn't considered a mansion.
Just for perspective, the link below is for a house in the same town, probably not that far from the Hensley place.
Montclair
I'll be in Montclair in a few weeks. Maybe we'll drive by one of these houses.
Drive along Upper Mountain Ave. The houses are impressive, and though you can't tell from street-level, the houses on the uphill side of the street have a beautiful view of the NYC skyline. If you do, keep in mind that the one with the arched driveway is mine, after I win Powerball.
If you drive through Upper Montclair, you might even see Stephen Colbert or Yogi Berra.
I'm going to the Welmont but I'll keep my eyes peeled lol
He also played the Phantom in the German production of 'Phantom of the Opera' for quite a long time - I'm sure that was lucrative on its own. Plus 'Young Frankenstein'. I really like him as a performer.
Stephen Colbert teaches CCD, and my friend's kid is in his class.

Remember that Hensley also played Frankenstein in the Universal Studios flop "Van Helsing" starring Hugh Jackman. While the movie wasn't a success I'm sure he got paid a pretty penny for his pretty hefty supporting role.
