I saw Part 1 again on Wednesday (I saw the full marathon back in November). The new cast brings a totally different energy that totally works for the show - in some ways it was like seeing a completely different show, which was fun (since I obviously know what happens in the plot). The standouts from the new cast members were definitely Urie and Keeley - Urie is SO right for the part, and brings the perfect mix of humor/campiness and sensitivity and emotion. The highlight of the whole thing, though, was Keira Keeley - she is AMAZING! It was only their second performance and she moved me to tears at least twice. I can't wait to see what she does with Harper's speech in Part 2 when I go back next week.
