No matter: I still found Simon Shepherd entertaining and, seeing as his two main co-stars have gone on to success in other mainstream UK drama programmes, I wish him all the best in his chosen career path (thought he was v funny playing 'himself' in Gimme Gimme Gimme)!

Has he done musical theatre before?
I'm interested to see this show, mainly because of Emma Williams, but would also like to see someone with great stage presence in the role of Captain Von Trapp
