For what its worth -- Kerry Butler NEEDS another dress. That poor dress has been on so many red carpet openings. She could borrow one of Kira's costumes if she's short-handed.

If anything Stanley looks a lot like Anna Friel, much more than Sherie Rene Scott.
Sherie is too unique to have a look alike, whereas Stanley has a more generic look, voice, acting, etc.

Actually, the woman on Brody's photo looks more like Amy Spanger. Nothing like Stanley, actually.
I insist Stanley is more of an Anna Friel look-alike, except not as pretty or talented of course.

OT, but I love Kerry's dress- any idea where it's from, anyone? I wish you could plug in images into a google search.

Am I the only one who thinks Elizabeth is a better singer? Don't get me wrong, I really like Sherie too...but Elizabeth can belt like no one I've ever heard before. Honestly.

Yeah the dress looks very Bohemian flea market/Urban Outfitters.

I was standing by the Marquis Theatre Stage Door (I didn't know it was the stage door) making a phone call the other week, and James Snyder walked by. He seems like one cocky bastard.

bwayguy - it's the other way around. Stanley can't belt, at least when you compare her and Sherie.

just listen to Sheire belt her face off in stuff like "Here I Am" from DRS or the stuff from DEBBIE DOES DALLAS. she also does some solid belting in BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY

Stanley is not a belter. I saw her in regional New York stuff before she broke onto Broadway. much more legit. She's a good singer but she's miscast in CRY-BABY.

Maybe. I don't know Sherie's voice all too well. From what I've heard though Elizabeth is much better at preserving her voice. Maybe because she has better training? Idk. Not saying I dislike Sherie...at all. I really like her. It just seems as though she shouts a lot more than Stanley. I get chills whenever I hear Stanley sing "Cry Baybay!" in her reprise lol. I just love how she sings that.
