Did a search to no avail. Anyone done the Sister Act rush recently? I tried rushing a few Sundays back at 10:30 and just missed the last tickets. Looking to rush Friday so if anyone has any advice it'd be appreciated!
I rushed on Saturday. I got there a bit before 8:00 and there were already about 15-18 people there. Evening sold out first and because of that some people in front of me left the line. I was able to get two matinee as were a few people behind me.

I rushed on Sunday 5/8 and got there at 7:30. I was first in line. Others joined me between 8 and 8:30, but by 9, the line was full. The guy in back of me works at the show as an usher (was getting tickets for friend because the Mother's Day show was sold out) and said that if you want to guarantee yourself a ticket, 7 am is a good bet (maybe slightly later on Sunday, but it depends).

What time does the box office open on Sundays? Noon? or 10am?
Seats are in the front row center. Personally, I find the stage a bit high from there, but the it is also cool to be that close. (And I love peeking into the pit every now and then).
And the box office opens at noon on Sundays.

I rushed on a Saturday a few weeks ago. Got there at 7 AM and got seats 106-107 for the evening performance, and was about 4th on line.

when you participate in the rush, do you get to choose a matinee or evening performance? or do they start with the matinee and and then once that's sold out they sell the evening performance?
Thanks.

I'm planning to rush on Wednesday. What are the chances of getting tickets if I can't get on line until 8:00?

You should be fine at 8:00. I got there at around 10 or 10:30 even for a sunday noon opening and was 2nd or 3rd on line.
I just rushed Saturday, 6/18. When I arrived at 7:30 am, there were already 7 people in line. They have 14 front-row seats, and for days with two shows, you can pick whichever of the two shows that still has tickets available when your turn comes at the window. All 7 at the front of that day's line wanted Sat. pm tickets, so those tickets sold out, and I was the front of the matinee tickets.

At 7:30 today, there were 3 people in line...about 10 by a little after 8.
How has rush been recently? I think I heard/read that they also give out $40 tickets if you don't get the front row... do they still do that?
It seems rush is still hard to get (the front row), but you can try around 6 PM for sort of "whatever's left" rush. Don't know if it is a student rush or general rush.
Is the 6PM rush a regular thing now?
It seemd to be when I picked up my tickets at 615 on Wednesday night. The mezz/balcony was absolutely empty, I think there happy to just sell the seats, at least during the week.

I tried rush in the evening twice last week and came up empty-handed. However, rush on Saturday morning wasn't so bad. I arrived just after 8am and was, probably, 5th in line, and it was a slow but steady line growth until 10am. However, I don't know if this was an anomaly due to the sudden change of the seasons (read: cold weather).

I don't know if this was due to the fact that people were keeping a low profile during the weekend of 9/11, but when I went on Saturday 9/10, I got there at 8:00, was fourth in line, and we were the only four there until 9:40 when the line grew. According to the other posts here, though, I think the slow line the day I was there was atypical.
What's it been like lately? Anyone rushed this show on a Sunday recently? What time have you gotten there?
Bumping this up, anyone have any recent rush info for Sister Act?

I went about 2 weeks ago on a Sunday, got there around 10, and was 13th in line. I'm not sure how it will be now that Carolee is coming in, though.
