Seating for Motown question Apr 24 2013, 06:43:38 PM
I've been to the Lunt Fontanne theatre a few times, but never sat on the extreme sides in the orchestra section. I'm looking at row J seats all the way on the left - everything in the center seems to be premium prices or under the mezzanine. I don't want to spend $150.00 a ticket on obstructed view seats though. Any opinions on these seats would be helpful. Thanks!

Lion King Tickets - Question Jan 6 2013, 12:43:15 PM
Thanks for the info! I'm actually wondering if the last few rows of the Mezzanine would be OK at this point since they are about $90.00 - I'm not a big fan of being really high up and worry that I would be uncomfortable looking down all night.

Lion King Tickets - Question Jan 5 2013, 06:03:10 PM
I'd like to see Lion King next month, and I know the orchestra seats are about $140.00 each (which is a little much for me as I'll be buying 3 tickets). How is the mezzanine at the Minskoff? The only time I saw Lion King was at the New Amsterdam so I'm not familiar with the Minskoff theatre. I know there are no discounts for Lion King but are there any tips I should know before getting tickets? Thanks!

Seating at the Marquis Theatre Mar 8 2012, 09:18:55 PM
I've never been to this theatre and I am thinking about getting tickets for Evita - most of the orchestra seems sold out except for the extreme sides. Has anyone ever sat on the far left or right and had their view obstructed and cut off due to walls/poles - I don't want to pay $150.00 a ticket for a poor view. Thanks in advance.

Are there any songs on the cast recording that are not in the current show in NYC?

Sister Act Rush Lately Jun 26 2011, 05:26:01 PM
when you participate in the rush, do you get to choose a matinee or evening performance? or do they start with the matinee and and then once that's sold out they sell the evening performance? Thanks.

re: who have you gotten stuff back from? Mar 11 2011, 11:35:23 PM
Got my Addams cd cover back in two weeks from Nathan Lane, but Bebe didn't sign it. I sent it to her and am currently still waiting - took a risk sending Nathan's autograph back out, but I'm hoping for the best. It's been a little over two weeks now.

I'm planning on sending my Addams cast recording to get signed by BeBe and Nathan Lane - I've never done this before so I thought I could ask for a little advice - obviously I'll send a SASE, but do I address it the theater, or the actors themselves? and if I'm looking for two signatures, do you address it to both of them? any help would be appreciated.

Addams stage door question Dec 12 2010, 06:28:13 PM
Ok, so here's what happend. Didn't have time to try and get any autographs on the way in - really didn't have that much time. Saw the show and for the first time we had mezzanine seating - first and last! I didn't care for being up there at all and didn't like looking down the whole time. Just my personal preference. I enjoyed the show, and since I had been listening to the cast recording for a month now, I new what to expect. Bebe and Nathan were perfect as

Addams stage door question Dec 9 2010, 09:53:32 PM
I'm going to consider grabbing an extra one to mail to the theater as I really don't think i'll have time to catch the actors on their way in. I'll write back and let you guys know how I make out - Thanks for the suggestions/answers.

Addams stage door question Dec 8 2010, 11:23:24 PM
Ok, so I go this Saturday (really looking forward to it!) - I'm really hoping to get Bebe's autograph. Has anyone ever gotten her autograph on the way in? I haven't read anything about seeing her after the matinee. I was also wondering if I could mail the playbill to the theater with a SASE for a possible return? I would just risk not getting my other signatures back if it was never returned though.

Addams stage door question Dec 5 2010, 06:19:39 PM
I have tickets to an upcoming matinee of the Addams Family and I was wondering what the stage door expectations should be - do Bebe and Nathan usually come out after a matinee? Also, interested in seeing Krysta Rodriguez and Wesley Taylor. I'm sitting in the mezznine, so hopefully I can get outside to get a good spot. If anyone can offer me any advice/stories on what to expect, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

re: Ticketmaster testing choose your own seats Dec 17 2009, 07:21:01 PM
I would also like this. However, for quite some time now, when it comes to buying tickets for a Broadway show, I just call and choose my seat that way - They'll check a section or two and help you find a suitable seat - I always have the seating chart in front of me and I've gone as far as to ask for certain seat numbers. I've also done this with Telecharge. Although I guess it depends on the person who takes the call.

Yeah, I thought I heard about the new sound system! How often do you get to see Phantom george?

re: Phantom Tickets - seating question Apr 30 2009, 10:13:21 PM
^^ Sounds good to me! I haven't seen this show in about 5 years. I saw it once in Philadelphia at the Forrest Theatre and once in NY at the Majestic, of course. The Philadelphia show was the first time I saw it and come to think of it, it was my first time going to the theatre - I had been to many concerts before, but not quite the same thing. I'm really looking forward to seeing Phantom again.

re: Phantom Tickets - seating question Apr 30 2009, 07:51:40 PM
^^ yeah, but if that's the case, there aren't many rows in the Orchestra that allow that kind of view - the overhang starts at Row H.

re: Phantom Tickets - seating question Apr 29 2009, 07:53:22 PM
Thanks george95! I'm really excited about the seats I got - especially after reading your post. I actually played around with tele-charge online for a while, and even though I was looking for four tickets, I was so tired of seats I didn't want coming up, that I put in for five (just so that that I could see what other areas were open) and Row K was available (I also REALLY like having aisle seats at the theatre) - but it wouldn't come up for 4 seats - I guess the system thought there were tech
