Congrats to BCEFA and the B'way community for another great show!
When the hard working Theatre folk gather to put on a show like this I just have to commend them.
Here are a few Observations:
Opening Number was a bit strange, was it about Easter at all?
Great Dancers and Singers
Sarah Jones was a JOY
Mahagony is a Force of nature (someone write her some new jokes)
Great Gowns by Musgrove.
and my Fav Bonnet was "Peter Pan" Tour Hat.
SPELLING BEE: oh My GOd, just hysterical
"Lion KIng GYPSY Take-Off"
Though I will have nightmares about those 2 Guys!
Buonopane and Goldhuber I salute U!
Now put yer clothes back on.
MENOPAUSE: was this a parody?
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: When did it become legitimate to Lip-Synch?
i couldn't understand one word.
Kudos to the Costume Designer, Loved Ursula's massive costume and TARZAN's lack of costume.
THE PAJAMA GAME: You can't do that kind of skit without Harry's Chest and Nipples as a pay off, So when can I get tkts to see 'em?
maybe he will show em Tuesday.
Naked Cowboy ain't got nothing on Harry, his Chest is so making him a TONY Fav. (and his fun performance)
RING OF FIRE: Now that's showing off the Talent of this cast!
But someone tell them there were three "Sweeney" Take-offs last year.
When your Easter Bonnet skit is better than your show, you're in big Trouble.
Again the cast is So Talented and great looking to Boot!
WICKED: Very Funny and I salute the leads, Eden, Megan, Robb, Jenna, etc. for taking part.
But Your Ice Skates had Wheels!!! Very Funny.
The JERSEY BOYS; Wonderful Accents and i loved the Hat.
THE LION KING: Sorry you"re Moving UP, The dancing and Singing were Wonderful, and I Loved the Box Choreography, Keep doing amazing skits in your new Home.
(it would probably be too difficult to do a skit saying Goodbye to the New Amsterdam)
MAMMA MIA!: So Clever and Dry, They Hit all the right points and the boys were HOt.
Great writing and singing and great zingers.
THE COLOR PURPLE; I smell a Winner.
Beautiful combination of Song, Dance and Bonnet presentation.
Simply Wonderful.
SWEENEY TODD: If they keep this trend of excellence up we will have a new BCEFA skit tradition, show your talents, make us laugh, and give us the Mano the Boards want!
best Cameo award to the MAMMA MIA girls!
DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS: WOW! So Moving and inspirational to the BCEFA cause.
The Singing was sublime and the Bonnet was Beautiful!
All the Hosts were great also, My favorites were:
Tyler, Barret and Rod. (Three of the cutest guys around)
Nice interactiveness.
The JERSEY BOYS: That Tall guy is a DREAM and Hoff is So Personable, all four of you guys rocked!
and HAIRSPRAY; also in the show as the program insert says:
This was My Favorite, The Tracy Stand-By had the best Voice and prescence of the Day, and BOY could She work those tassles!!!!
All in All, A great Day, and a great show.
if You can get a Tkt for Tuesday.
RUSH, more Fun for a great Day For BCEFA and BROADWAY.
and then there's DORIS!
She makes me feel so YOUNG!
We all just Love U Doris and we will see you next year when your 103!
Again, Congrats to all who gave their Time to make a special Day!

Wow, that was hard to read.
But I agree, it was a fun afternoon at Easter Bonnet. I liked the Beauty and the Beast Bonnet best.

Sorry if it was hard to read.
I Pull Down the Curtain, not write the scripts.
Dirty Rotten had two recepients of funding from BCEFA and they sang a great Accapela Song.
The Beast hat was Nice but I couldn't see it well.
The hairspray hat was also really Beautiful.

We just finished. Excuse the logo. It will be finished within the hour.
It was the greatest event. I have never had such a good time.
The Mamma Mia skit had me in stiches. Spelling Bee. Additionally, the Disney skits were a riot.
Glad I was not wearing mascara today.
It was funny!

Posted: 4/24/06 at 11:35pmThe fact that Beauty and the Beasts song was prerecorded made it even funnier. It made it seem like they were even more like robots working for this HUGE corporation (which is what they were going for)

I loved every skit.
I think there has to be a prize for the T Turnblad.
She was fantastic. She made me howl.
They all deserve flowers.
I have never had such a great time.
What a wonderful event.
It made my year.

Hairspray was definitely funny.
And I don't like the show ST, but their skit, with the Queen song, made me laugh so much. Especially the Mamma Mia, Mamma Mia and having the cast come in and run circles around M.
