My middle school did it and it was a great production. My mom loves this show, she saw the obc quite a few times. I prefer the movie to the stage version.

I had a friend just yesterday tell me how well-developed he thought the characters in Grease were...I was like...huh?? And this is a smart, theatre-savvy gay man!

I was Marty this April in my high school. I was also Sandy's understudy. It was my first show so I can't complain about it.

Count me in. I was in the ensemble (sing & dance, change clothes, sing & dance, change clothes, sing & dance... you get the idea), and I was one of the Straight A's. I think doing "Shakin' at the High School Hop" and "Raining on Prom Night" was probably my favorite part of the evening.

I played one of the geeky bookworms when I was in 8th grade. The movie is somewhat bearable....the show is not! It's funny because when I got to high school I always remember my director saying, "There are five shows I'll never do here...Oliver, The Sound of Music, Annie, Footloose, and GREASE!!"

My first summer stock gig included GREASE! I was cast as Miss Lynch and Teen Angel. This gave me about 30 seconds, after the prom scene, to run down to the basement of the theater (an old dairy barn) and change from full on drag queen to '50s rock idol. It was one of the funnest times in my theatrical life.

Frenchy here. Horrible horrible production-but of course everyone and their mom came out to see it. We had to add extra seats in the isles of the theater.
