Johnny wasn't there live. They just showed him on tape up on the screen. Steph was there live, she (as Lucy T Slut) and Trekkie did the rules before the show went on air.

(i think) because the show won when john was in it and it wouldnt have made sense when steph said "these are the people who gave us the tony last year" although it WAS the puppets talking... people might have gotten confused, i dont know.

I completely agree! I was really liking the look. Correction: I was LOVING the look! It's too bad he wasn't there when I saw Avenue Q b/c I might've gotten to meet him. I did get to meet Barrett! And to answer the question about why Barrett wasn't there: I think it's b/c John T. was playing the part of Princeton whenever they won the Tony last year and since they were thanking the people for giving them the Tony then it makes sense.

Actually, it doesn't quite say that... (I had to do a double take to see if he'd updated since the last update, but he hasn't yet..)

But anyway-- It was great seeing them on the awards show last night (totally unexpected!)--Of course John looked great (and he's such a great person),-- and I actually did like Stephanie's dress (but I can see how someone might not, especially because of the color--but that happens to more or less be my favorite color... almost...)--I thought she looked great too!


It was a very cute skit--a very nice surprise :)
