Does anyone know if there has been any progress with this show? I LOVE the movie and would love it on broadway! Anything but snarkiness is appreciated!

I agree LPF, I just don't think that a musical version could match the charm of the movie. It's a perfect movie imo, lush, campy, fun, great elements for a splashy Broadway musical. But the intimacy of film (or television) is needed to capture the greatness of all of those sneaky/hush-hush behind-the-scenes moments. I'd rather see a tv version, filmed half-hour comedy in the hands of people like those behind Arrested Development. Not holding my breath though.
