I know that Kristy Cates says the line in Thank Goodness:
I hear some rebel animals are giving her food and shelter!
And Kathy Deitch says:
Like some terrible green blizzard (or wizard, or lizard, whatever she says) throughout the land she flies!

I think the actor that plays Dr. Dillamond, William Youmans, has the line
"A good man SCORNS the wicked"!! in the opening number "No Mourns the Wicked" He really nails it!!!

Glinda: "According to the time dragon clock, the melting occured at the thirteenth hour - the direct result of a bucket of water thrown by a female child. Yes, the Wicked Witch of the West is dead!"
*people go YAY and scream*
Guy: NO ONE MOURNS THE WICKEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!
I dunno about you guys, but I absolutely love how that guy sings that. It just sounds really good, and gives me sort of a chill inside. He's the coolest.

re: Solos in Wicked#19
Posted: 4/22/05 at 12:17pmI'm absolutely astounded. You folk know the CHORUS MEMBERS and what lines they sing in the opening number?!?!?! It's now official: WICKED has become the new LES MIZ (You old-timers remember when all the young pups were absolutely frothing at the mouth over anything MIZ?)

maybe i'm alone on this one, but i like Boq's solo.
"for once i'm glad i'm heartless, i'll be heartless killing her"
and the whole part about letting the lion fight his own battles "he wouldn't be a coward todayyyyyyy" then when the company joins in..wow! i think "wickedness must be punished" (if thats what its called) is an awesome number too.
re: Solos in Wicked#21
Posted: 4/22/05 at 1:02pmthats one of my favorite lines from Boq to "And the lion also has a grievence to repay if she let him fight his own battles when he was young he wouldn't be a coward..todayyyyy!" Love it!!

AndieV,
Glinda sings that part of "No One Mourns the Wicked." I didn't figure that out until I first saw the show, either. :)

popular_elphie and everyone else,
Ben Cameron is the one who sings the first, "No one mourns the wicked" in the opening number. For some reason, I also really noticed this first line (partially because it's basically the first line of the first song in the show and partially because he does a really good job with it) and happened to be looking right at him when he was singing it. He's fairly distinctive looking, so I'm pretty sure it was him.
