Neither. Go for Shucked, &Juliet, or even Bad Cinderella instead.

You'll have a fine time at SOME LIKE IT HOT, easy to enjoy, easy to digest, easy to predict. It plays by the numbers and does so with finesse.

I'm totally in the NYNY camp though. I was thrilled to be watching something huge and ambitious and gorgeous and unpredictable. I didn't know where it was headed and loved the swerves it took to make it to its happy ending. SLIH left me charmed. NYNY left me exhilarated.

I found SLIH enjoyable but safe and slightly boring. It was like 10 good minutes of material repeated over and over again.

NYNY is thrilling and a bit messier - sort of like the city I guess. I felt more and the spectacle took me away. Definitely the best set on Broadway and my favourite arrangements.

When you realize you made the wrong choice, I will say "I told you so"! Awful show, totally pointless, woke done wrong. Some nice dancing and music at least, but I think Marilyn must be very upset in her grave.

I kinda agree.  Shucked is easy laughs and silly fun, &Juliet is one of my fave new shows and Bad Cinderella is growing in stature after watching SLIHot and NY, NY.  They just left me cold.

I can't comment on Shucked, I'm seeing it tomorrow so I can't really talk about it -I'm being passive aggressive to some of the people commenting on this thread who hasn't seen any of the 2 shows in question...

But I have seen Bad Cinderella and I'm usually an ALW fan, but this was crap!

Out of these two, I would also prefer Some Like It Hot.

Shucked was interesting, I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either...I thought it's giving the audiences what they want, it's a fun show. Was I engaged? No. I enjoyed the numbers with the entire ensemble mostly, the sets were great. It was very original, but not my cup of tea. Feel free to read my ratings on my other thread.
