A new blog taking a satirical look at the experience of going to the Theater means in 2016.
At The Great Porcelain Way,we seek to take a different perspective on theatrical reviews, and look to the infrastructure of the theaters to see what sets these unique performance spaces apart. From inside the bowl, looking out.
That's right kids, I'm going to be reviewing the bathrooms of New York City's finest (and maybe not so fine) theatrical venues.
Enjoyed it. Good luck.
This is funny!
This, my friend, is fabulous stuff. I genuinely loved it and looking forward to future entries.
I like that the line moves pretty fast at the Hirschfeld.
Will wait for your review of The Booth. Love the sitting room down there.
Thanks for the comments! I'm glad people are enjoying it!
It's been a while since I've been to the Booth (I sadly missed Hand to God... I think I'll regret that for a while.) So we'll have to wait for Hugie to open! Thanks for the tip! :)
This is hysterical--can't wait to read all the great bathroom descriptions! You should also have people be guest editors! For example, I peed next to Michael Cerveris at Fun Home and I passed by Alan Cumming as he was exiting the bathroom during Something Rotten! I'm sure others have great ones, too!
