spring awakening just like the next person, however.. i also tend to play the songs for a new world soundtrack far too often as well. i just love it, all the songs are so different, you get such a variety in listening to it, not to mention the vocals/music is brilliant. and since there is really no set plot, there isn't an ongoing running theme [then again yes, but not like most shows] so you never get tired of it.
ugh everytime i rant about it i always wish i could've seen it performed. yuck.

hear my song; it was made for the time when you don't know where to go, listen to the song that i sing, you'll be fine..

I just ordered my Spring Awakening CD and will be thoroughly enjoying it in 3-8 business days.
But currently I've been listening to...
"Coffee" from 'See What I Wanna See'
"An Untitled Opening Number" and "Monkeys and Playbills" from [title of show]
and although it technically isn't from a musical, Gavin Creel's solo album.

Gotta love getting cast recordings for Christmas! :)
