Self-explanatory. One of the students at my school has been diagnosed with cancer, and the club committed to raising money for her is giving a fashion show as a fundraiser. I got put on the committee for music, and, lo and behold, the genre they assigned me was musical theatre. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Something from Coco? I don't know the score but I know the show is about Coco Chanel, the fashion designer.

"Paris Original" from How to Succeed by Frank Loesser; this is a very funny song. All the women are wearing the exact same knockoff dress.
And then the score to Coco (which is about Chanel and starred Kate Hepburn who couldn't carry a tune in a bag) has some fashion songs with some fairly clever Alan Jay Lerner lyrics and pretty simple music by Andre Previn. "A Brand New Dress" is awful, but could work in a fashion show context.
Comden/Green/Styne wrote a comic number for Subways are for Sleeping that could work for a bathing suit sequence. It has to be sung by a member of the opposite sex than the one that is modelling. It is called "I Just Can't Wait (To See You With Clothes On)".
"Think Pink!" and "On How To Be Lovely" both from the film Funny Face have to do with fashion.

Life With Harold - The Full Monty
"I really love that man
He likes me dressed to the nines
I say two words and then ta-da
There's me completely in Prada
And I've got the boots that go with the belt
That goes with the bag
That goes with my wonderful life with Harold
You gotta love that man"

I was thinking "Popular" from Wicked. It mentions fashion, it's about being pretty and popular, and I think it would work really well.
