It would seem awkward for Forget About the Boy. I don't know. To me it would be. I think the context is just weird how it's placed. The Little Women tracks, I don't really have a problem with, but it might just be that the most well-known ones are integrated with Sutton Foster, so having a male sing those songs would be compared to Sutton's voice, thus, being "weird".
I suppose one could change "Forget About the Boy" to "Forget About the
Girl", and one could also change the female ensemble to a male ensemble. But whatever. You could sing it, but it'd be better sung if it were modified. It's not quite as universal as other songs are.
I didn't mean to offend anyone or anything, but it just sort of popped into my head while I was listening to it.
