"God, That's Good" - Sweeney Todd
And I love the overlapping at the end of "The Ballad of Guiteau" from Assassins - particularly on the 2004 revival recording.
It's called counterpoint. Two or more melodic lines of more or less equal importance sounding simultaneously. As opposed to homophonic textures, which feature one melody with harmony and/or accompaniment (or, as my friend says, "I'm not homophonic- I like gay people.").
The quartet Johanna from Sweeney Act II gets me every time.

You know what! Just about anything from Sweeney and Into The Woods! Most of Les Mis also has great overlapping.
Thanks for mentioning "One Day More" from Les Miz, mizzie. In its day, it was probably the most magically moving piece of counterpoint I'd ever experienced.
I'd add "Hello, Twelve" and "At the Ballet" ("That I was BORN to help their marriage . . ." - awesome) from A Chorus Line.

Some of my favorite contrapuntal songs are, and, I'm surprised no one has mentioned these, Irving Berlin's AN OLD FASHIONED WEDDING from ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and YOU'RE JUST IN LOVE from CALL ME MADAM.
