Seperately, they are gorgeous songs.
But together they are even more beautiful.

Magic to Do from Pippin. Not really in the majority of the song, but by the end when the players are overlapping with "magic to do/just for you" etc. SO cool.

I absolutely 5th the sweeney quartet towards the end of "Ladies..."
One of my favorite moments of the show, but not so much in the new production for some reason. LOVE it on the obc and even the dvd!

I'll have to second Lippa's "Poor Child" from The Wild Party. Even so, everytime I listen to it Idinas "He's a dime store fraud/she's a second hand broad..." catches me. That moment is amazing.

The entire score to LaChuisa's "Wild Party". Although there are individual cuts on the cast CD recording, watching it performed live was a trip because as each song was ending the listener was accosted by the introduction of the next number often jolting you into a new scene. I loved LaChuisa's use of flowing one song into the next, building the momentum and action of the show and at the same time mesmerizing you with his chord changes and harmonies. Using this technique the "party" just seemed to build and go on and on until its final destruction.
