I would love to hear (but doubt I ever will ) the 3 farting songs composed for Spamalot but not used. They were mentioned in a news article & by Idle on Theater Talk
They must be a rip ( pardon the pun)
The new songs that were in Sweet Charity. I doubt those who didn't see the show out of town won't get a chance to hear the now songs, since the it's not comming to Bway.

The original score written by Leroy Anderson for Wonderful Town before he was fired and Bernstein brought in.
The music for The War Ballet from Bob Fosse's The Conquering Hero.
Whatever Sondheim wrote for Muscle.
Those are three. I'll think of more.
Now that sounds interesting! The original Wonderful Town score. I can't imagine the score not done by Bernstein.
All the William Finn songs that aren't released on CD from musicals like Romance in Hard Times, Muscle, America Kicks Up It's Heels, Royal Family of Broadway, etc.
All the Jason Robert Brown songs from Urban Cowboy that aren't on the demo CD (including I Take It Back)

Well, you CAN hear a different score for the Wonderful Town story.
Columbia Pictures held the rights to the play it was based on. Negotiations for the Broadway musical version didn't work out, so Columbia decided to start from scratch. They made it into a film called My Sister Eileen, with a totally new score by Jule Styne and Leo Robin. It starred Janet Leigh, Betty Garrett, Jack Lemmon, and Bob Fosse. Check it out.

The multitude of songs written for
Legs Diamond
Nick & Nora
Annie Warbucks
The mother daughter songs from Carrie. All I have are midi files that I can attempt to match up with a script. I'd love to hear them with the actual voices though.

The score Maury Yeston wrote for his version of La Cage Aux Folles before the property was given to Jerry Herman, which I believe was to be called The Queen of Basin Street.

Sweet Charity with Applegate
Songs cut from musicals
Romance in Hard Times really had a terrific score...The show was a wild, fanciful piece that didn't make much sense, but I remember really enjoying Finn's score, and Lillias White's tremendous performance.
Ohhhhhh I love everything Finn's every written. I would kill to hear Romance in Hard Times! I wonder if it's recorded anywhere?

Phantom 487: "The cut song "Ten Percent" written for Chicago."
You can hear this song on the first Lost In Boston CD.

Fyi, Ten Percent is on one of the Lost In Boston CDs. And Open Road is, I believe, recorded by Gilles Chaisson on his solo CD.
Now Gilles Chaisson, I'd like to hear sing it. The NYTW recording is saaad.
It could happen...ALL the tracks of Bare...*crosses fingers*
Ahhhh Girl for Tartaglia, how could I forget that????
Some other record company should pick up the mantle & start issuing more Lost In Boston & Unsong Broadway. Another idea would be a series of CD's of cut songs from musicals from specific composers or shows from composers who shows do not get recorded
Would love to hear Strouse's Marty & The Night They Raided Minsky's

Great idea.
What about somebody recording Jule Styne's version of Treasure Island which was called Pieces of Eight. It only played in Canada I believe and I don't know if anybody's ever recorded anything from it.
