If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Thanks! Keep 'em coming, folks!
I should also mention that if you think of any songs that fit the theme but aren't from shows (like I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar or You're So Vain, for example), feel free to list those too!

I haven't listened to the cast recording in years, but I'm pretty sure you could find something from "I love you, you're perfect, now change"

The blues number "I'm a Man", Helen Reddy's tune "I am Woman". There's a great song from Jelly's Last Jam. Title's something like "Lovin' is a Low-down Blues". Feuding and making up in the same piece.

How about "A Hymn to Him" and "An Ordinary Man" from MY FAIR LADY?
Also, I'm not that familiar with the show, but I'm sure THE LAST FIVE YEARS has a song or several about men and/vs. women.

Salve, Regina, Mater misericordiae
Vita, dulcedo, et spes nostra
Salve, Salve Regina
Ad te clamamus exsules filii Eva
Ad te suspiramus, gementes et flentes
O clemens O pia

What You Don't Know About Women- City of Angels
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

These suggestions are great. I'm just going to give this one little bump for any posters who come during the week but not on the weekend. Thanks again, everyone.
