Name one song (from a show NOT on Broadway currently) that you would love to hear sung by one of your favorite performers.

For example I would love to hear...

"If I Could've Been" from WORKING sung by Lilias White!

She would put so much power and soul into it.

I know there are probably a million threads like this but I couldn't find any so please pardon me. Besides that, I want to know what others think. Songs you would like to hear sung by other artists

What would you like to hear?

Sutton Foster sining "People" from FUNNY GIRL.

I really loved her in the ENCORES! production when she did "I'm The Greatest Star". Throw "The Music That Makes Me Dance" in there as well.

I was thinking about this the other day while listening to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, I would love to see Sherie perform Defying Gravity. I just think her voice really soars, probably the best I have ever seen.

Also, I would love to see Lisa Howard (Spelling Bee) as Mary Poppins. I have thought from the beginning she was perfect for it.

I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. I just know I want to be wherever I can wake and see you there next to me. **High Fidelity** Love is what I do **The Wedding Singer** Xanadu - Best NEW Musical of the Season!

I would love to hear Bernadette Peters tackle both "Be On Your Own" and "A Call From the Vatican" from NINE. She would be in tears for the first song and vamping it up in the second. Both numbers would showcase her strong suits.

I'd love to hear Audra sing "I Loved You Once In Silence" or "Before I Gaze At You Again" from Camelot. And I'd love to hear/see Beth Leavel do "Little Girls"

Cheers,

Christopher

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I want to hear Anita Baker and Peabo Bryson singing "Say It Somehow" from The Light in The Piazza.

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

Audra McDonald singing "That's Enough For Me" from William Finn's Romance in Hard Times.

Mary Testa singing "How Lucky Can You Get?" (I know it's not from a stage musical - but it should be)

Lillias White singing "Set Those Sails" from In Trousers. And also I'd like to hear her sing "Maybe" from Annie.

George Hearn singing "Meadowlark". (Hehe, just kidding on that one.)

I heard a performer on Seth's Chatterbox talking about Steven Pasquale and she was saying how he breathes really heavily when singing. Like "*Gasp* By your side I could be bravvvvvee!"

But he has got such a yummy yummy voice, I would forgive him breathing funny.

LOL...I saw Steven as Chris in Miss Saigon and I have to say I never noticed that.

On topic, I'd love to see Sutton Foster's "Over the Moon." I highly doubt she'd EVER play Maureen unless it were some special event, but I think it'd be hysterical.
