Sorry- one more question about Falsettos' seating

I haven't bought tickets yet because I'm still waiting on part of my work trip to be finalized, and I missed out on Orchestra Left, Row E, aisle seat.  I'm going to throw caution to the wind and purchase today.  The available seats that I'd be interested are:

Orchestra R or L, Row C, aisle seat

Orchestra R, Row K, third seat in

First row mezzanine, right smack in the middle

Any thoughts? I'm short and pretty near-sighted so I prefer to be as close as possible, but not so close that I'm craning my neck uncomfortably.

Thanks!

You can't go wrong with front row mezz!

Ouch, careful reading is always a good thing.

With your concern of eyesight (and the info below about the railing) I would agree that row c on the aisle might be the way to go.

Hope you enjoy

I always prefer front mezz, but from the OP's descriptors, it sounds like the Row C aisle seat might be more ideal to her situation.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

I would normally agree with front row mezz, but at the Belasco, the rail across the front row is right at eye level if you are short.  I am 5' 1" and it was obstructive.  My sister said the same thing - she is 5' 2".  That was our experience.

"

Do you mean at the Walter Kerr, not the Belasco? I'm 5'3"- think it would be a problem?

The seats in the front center mezz are almost all taken except for 4 right in the middle....which makes me wonder why they're still available!

I am so sorry - I had a complete brain freeze.  But for future reference, don't sit in the front row mezz at the Belasco.  :)

There is a rail at the Kerr but not obstructive for short people.  I sat front row mezz multiple times with no problem.

Consider the front row mezz at the Belasco struck off my list for eternity!  Thanks for the tip!

I sat dead center front row mezz at Falsettos this weekend and it is TIGHT in there. My friend who is 5'3" had zero legroom and my other friend who is about 5'7" was absolutely miserable. I'm about 5'6" and had no trouble seeing over the bar, but my shorter friend did and had to lean forward for most of the performance.

For anyone over 5'6" or so, the front row mezz at the Kerr is absolute torture.  There is zero leg room.
