He also did Robin of Sherwood in the (70s? or maybe 80s) which was a big tv series. Hes also pretty well known for musical theatre. Hes done Aspects of Love (did he replace Michael Ball?), Copacabana (very good he was to), Beautiful and Damned (ok flop musical but was menat to be good in it) and im sure other stuff ive forgotten. He is perfect for the captain. Very exciting line up! (although not a massive Connie fan)

He was quiet a sez symbol back in the 80s on Tv and in films.
He was in the original West End production of 'The Pirates Of Penzance', that transfered from Broadway to Drury Lane in 1982.
It also starred Tim Curry, George Cole and Bonnie Langford and was a much, over, hyped show that filled The Lane for nearly 2 years.
It had a later UK production with Paul Nicholas.
