In this short film, soldier Jean Valjean is stuck in his own tiny tragedy- a winter spent clearing snow off the landing strips of South Korea, so his comrades cheer him up the best they can- by singing about the drudgery of snow patrol duty!

I love it!

The scenes between Javert and Valjean have much more impact than in the actual Les Mis film?

The acting seems much better because the singing is better which matches the acting more! I think this should have been the way to go. Also, this guy playing Valjean sings (and therefore acts) so wonderfully, that it gives his charactter something alsmost "saint/god-like". The same feeling I had with John Owen Jones' portrayal of Valjean.

Real singing is the main reason for a film like this to feel real, because this clip feels much more real than any moment in the Les Mis film. The filmmakers need to think of why that is.

That Javert inserted into the Les Miserable film singing the same lines in Korean would have been better than Russell Crowe's performance.
