Funny story actually...my aunt arrived at the theater by 8:45 am and was first in line. When she got to the ticket window and asked for 2 SRO tickets, she was informed that SRO is not avaiable until after opening night. Then she asked if there was a student rush, and was informed taht tehre was; however, tehre was no student there who didn't need 2 tickets. So my aunt went out on 44th Street and asked a young student to help her out...he gladly bought her the tickets, so my aunt thanked him and gave him $20. When I returned later that night to see the show, I asked the BO about the rush policy and was informed that tehre was none. So the box seats that we had bought as student rush were actually full price tickets for $101.25. Now for my review. Although the show was pretty short (over by 10:20) it was solid. I loved it. A must see. The cast is brilliant. Sara Ramirez was a particular stand-out. I'd have to say ym favorite song was you need a jew to succeed on broadway. Don't have much time, but will post longer review later:)

I'd love more information about this show. I've always like Monty Python but am fairly ignorant about what's actually in the musical. Could someone post a plot synopsis or song list or something?

Wait...I was thinking of getting standing room tickets for this Saturday? They aren't selling them?? So, why did they give our student rush tickets for the first performance and not for any other performance? I am so confused? Is there any way I will be able to see Spamalot this Saturday if I get there early? Someone please help!

So they sold $100 tickets for $25? Or did your aunt pay that much for the ticket?

They sold the $100 tickets for $25 by mistake...it's worth a shot to go early I guess to see if mayeb they might make the same mistake twice. My aunt said they also had a couple of seats available for full price (orchestra row G and rear mezz)so its worth a try WithoutATrace:)
