Yeah...I think that's what I'll do. I really want to see this show and not have the experience suck because of bad seats.

I want to see Wicked in San Francisco when the tour stops there. But I am a poor college student and plan on getting the "cheap $35 seats." How bad are these seats? I don't mind sitting a little farther back, but are the seats so poor that I'll need binoculars or something to see the actors faces. Do you think having these seats will ruin the experience of the show?

No director should have a problem with taking suggestions for actors...but I think its all in the fashion that you discuss them with the director. If you take her aside and discuss your concerns, I see nothing wrong with that. However, openly questioning the director in front of the cast is not cool. Wicked will most certainly be done by lots of high schools. I knew plenty of girls in high school who could have done a solid job as Elphaba or Glinda...and besides its high school...questionable singing jobs are to be expected. :) Besides, every emo high school theatre girl will want to play Elphaba...it will definitly be overdone immediatly after being released.

Glinda...because Kristin Chenowith is hot.

Seasons of Love from Rent might work...not my favorite song, but I've seen it sung by an ensemble at a graduation in the past and it worked pretty well.

I want to get a couple of Broadway show prints...Phantom, Les Mis, Wicked...all pretty mainstream...to decorate my dorm room. Any idea where they can be purchased online cheap?

Beyonce did a good job singing the first song from Choristes or something like that, but she should not have sang the Phantom song. Emmy Rossum should have sung it. She sounded terrible and then having her sing Believe was just rediculous. I half expected her to be singing with the Counting Crows. Does anyone know who the Phantom was that came out?

Has anyone seen the Mary Poppins stage musical? I've loved the movie since I was a little and was always disappointed that there was no stage version of the movie. Is the London production any good? Are there any new/different songs?

I'd love more information about this show. I've always like Monty Python but am fairly ignorant about what's actually in the musical. Could someone post a plot synopsis or song list or something?
