Agreed! And not just by the Tony nominating committee. Nice to see he's getting some recognition.

Posted: 8/5/05 at 6:13pmHe rocks. I'm a huge fan. The Tony voters totally did a disservice by not nominating him. But he did win the Clarence Derwent Award, which is really cool. It's only given to one actor and one actress each year.

Posted: 8/5/05 at 7:07pmI agree, and except for Sieber and Ramirez, I think he may just be my favorite in the show! I dubbed Sieber my "Act 1 favorite" and Borle my "Act2 favorite." I kow the each appear in the ohter acts, but they are highlighted muhc more in teh ones I mentioned. He's WONDERFUL!!!!!

Posted: 8/5/05 at 8:00pmYes!!! He was massively wonderful in Spamalot. Off B-Way topic: thought it was a hoot when he was doing the EBay commercials and they aired during American Idol. Some critic wrote that 'you know a show is in trouble when the EBay guy can sing rings around any contestant.' Yeah, baby.

Posted: 8/5/05 at 8:34pmBorle was incredible! That's such a cool part. Not Dead Fred, the guy who sings "Brave Sir Robin" and "Prince Herbert" haha he was HILARIOUS! But so overlooked. I mean, I'm sure he's not upset. He's in the biggest musical this year with HUGE stars! He couldn't really expect to be a stand-out.
