I'm thinking of purchasing tickets for Sunday, December 4. Does anyone know what days the actors (especially Tim Curry) actually perform? I saw the show once before, but Curry was out that day. Thanks!
Nevermind, misread the message.

every day. u may even get lucky enough to see one of Hank's first days back....or one of Alan's last.

Officially they all perform every day, but I mean does anyone have any inside information (i.e., does Tim Curry take off every Wednesday, or something of that nature) that might help me decide what day to buy tickets for.
Yeah, that'd be nice to see Hank Azaria, though Alan Tudyk was great.
Hanks first day back with the show is November 29.

he's always scheduled to be there, unless he gets sick or goes on vacation. notice how NOBODY in the cast has taken a day off since the Reidel article, except if it was a scheduled vacation. i went to a recent matinee and got to see the full cast, and Sara, who reportedly took many matinees off.
i saw lennon this past wednedsay. Julie Danao-Salkin blew out her voice, so her absence was scheduled. Marcy Harriel was out for that matinee, and her standby was called in a half hour before curtain.
its luck of the draw.
Tim's contract provides for 8 performances a week - he doesn't have a special arrangement to not perform matinees, or anything of that nature. He has taken his vacation. If you get tickets for 12/4, you should be all right, barring some unforeseen problem. His contract expires on 12/21.

Thank you, that is helpful to know that he already took his vacation. Is there a way of finding out if someone has scheduled a day off? I'm just really hoping to catch Curry, since he wasn't in last time.

Its the luck of the draw. Seriously.... i wish Iwas joking.
Perhaps Telecharge would have that information, although its website wasn't helpful about reporting SPAMALOT vacations. For a date that far in the future, I'd rather doubt it.
At any rate, I hope you *do* manage to catch Tim Curry, as he's wonderful in the show.

Well, if he's not there don't worry, you're not missing much. My friend, who thinks this show is (pardon the pun) the holy grail of Broadway, thought Tim Curry was the weakest link. I personally think he sleepwalks through the show. I liked his understudy though.
Well...obviously opinions differ on that score. Anyone who's enough of a fan of Mr. Curry's to want to return to the show specifically to see him certainly *is* missing out if he/she doesn't get the chance to make that determination for him or herself.

Isn't John Bolton gone from Spamalot? What now, when Mr. Curry takes a day off? Who will fill in?
I went, thinking I would see Mr. Curry and John Bolton was in. Still, it was a fun show.
