Basically what Wanna Be Foster is saying is to bump up an older thread.
To hopefully try to answer your question: I rushed Bee sometime over the summer. First they sell about 25 bleacher seats in the first couple of rows to anyone. It is a general rush. The tickets are either $20 or $25. After that they sell whatever they have left to students only for $25. I went around 11:30 am in August and missed the general rush and got student rush. So Bee rush is fairly easy - you'll most likely get a seat.
Keep in mind, though, that this is one of the busiest times of the year for Broadway - so busy that they raise their prices for this week. I attempted to rush this time of year a couple of years ago with no luck. It was crowded and the lines outside theaters were quite long. But I had gone to the box offices after 10 am. With that in mind, I would definitely get to the box office before 10 am. If you live near the city, try going in early. Show up at the box office around 8 am. If no one is there, walk around a bit and get some breakfast or something and keep checking back. Once people start getting in line, wait. Hope that helps and good luck!

There are only 14 bench seats: 4 in the first row and 10 in the second.
