So, do most of them usually come out? Anything interesting about the stage door? I'm sooo excited to be going!
And another question - If you go see a show (say LITP) and you take a CD from someone's former show (like if you took Sweet Smell of Success), would it be ok to ask Kelli to sign it? Or any situation like that... considering I don't even own SSoS, that won't exactly happen... lol But is that considered ok? Or is even taking the CD of the show you're seeing ok?
Thanks!

I don't see why that would be a problem, as long as the performer was involved in the show.
I wouldn't bring the Spelling Bee recording for Kelli O'Hara to sign, but who would?

When I went everyone but Dan Fogler came out. All are very sweet and accomadating.
And I don't see a problem with the CD thing.

Dan tends to come out of the actual stage door of Circle in the Square. You can usually see him hanging around outside of the theater, on his cell phone(everytime I see him, at least.)
The last time I saw it everyone came out, except for Celia I think. It was a Wednesday matinee and she sounded like she had a cold though, so maybe she was just staying in for awhile.

Posted: 7/31/05 at 6:27pmDan always leaves through the actual stage door. If you catch him, he'll sign for you. Everybody else comes out through the fromt entrance and all sign. I don't know about the rest, but Celia Keenan-Bolger and Jose Llana take pictures.

Posted: 7/31/05 at 6:57pmThey just go out through the theatre and onto the escalators. Very easy. O'Byrne exited that way when I saw Frozen.

It's totally alright to ask a performer if they'd sign something from another show they were a part of. I do that for every show I go to... I did it with Matt Morrison at Piazza (brought the CD insert for Hairspray - he thought it was awesome and looked at the other signatures I had on there, trying to guess who they were.)
When I saw DRS, I asked Sherie if she'd sign like... 5 CD inserts from all her shows (Aida, Debbie Does Dallas, DRS, Last 5 Years, Hair Benefit) and she was so flattered! Same went for Idina when I met her. And John Lithgow (he signed my Sweet Smell of Success insert), Julia Murney, Anthony Rapp, Kerry Butler... sooo many. Most of the time, it's flattering to see that a fan recognizes them for their overall work and something OTHER than the show they're doing now. At least... I WOULD BE flattered.
