Hi,
If Passing Strange posts it closing notice this week will Spike Lee still film it? Also what was it that he's filming? Is he filming the show to be broadcast or is he filming it for a movie?

I don't keep tabs on a closing notice for Spring Awakening "the BEST theater experience of (your) life."

Why would they announce the filming of the show and then not keep it open long enough to accomplish that task. And if you'd take three seconds to read the article about the filming you'd be able to answer your last question... geez.

There are so many other musicals/plays that are worthy of being filmed! Why, why, why is this the one being filmed? Big mistake, Mr. Lee, big mistake.

He is evidently a big fan of the show and has seen it several times. if his company is filming it than it is his money and he can film what he chooses.
