From what I've heard members of both casts will be there talking about the show or something along the lines of that. There will also be questions from fans.
Did anyone pick there tickets up yesterday? Is the seat already assigned on the ticket?
Nope, it just has your section (orch, mezz, rear mezz) and the number ticket you are (which really doesn't mean anything).
So I'm convinced that they're trying to get people killed on Monday when they start fighting over seats because they lined up at 10AM. Maybe not, but seriously.. SUCH a bad idea to have general admission.
Well the email says to start line-up at 1:15... I have a feeling they won't allow a line to start any earlier. But yeah, general admission is never a good idea.
My email said 1:30, maybe they assigned staggered times to make it a bit more orderly.
Well it doesn't really matter what time you show up, they're not opening the doors until 2:15 or 2:30 (2:15 according to the e-mail, 2:30 according to what they told me yesterday).
Excerpt from an email I received...
"SPRING AWAKENING & DEGRASSI: A LIVE VERBAL MASH UP where cast members from the smash Broadway musical "Spring Awakening" and cast members of The N Channel's hit show "Degrassi: The Next Generation" will come together to talk about the common issues presented in these shows. This is an unprecedented event which will get a lot of press coverage and will be web cast nationally on AOL Red."
Unfortunately, I won't be there because I can't miss anymore college classes...
Have fun, and tell us about it! <33
Tons of fun today. Zach Braff was hilarious! I wish he had stayed for the whole show.
And Rosie was awesome. She's so genuine and she's such an Spring Awakening fangirl that it's adorable.
The actual verbal mashup was great. Both casts had really great things to say. The questions were a little cliche but still, they got the job done.
most of my pictures were blurry because of no flash, so here are the good ones:
I LOVE YOU! I didn't know Shane Kippel and Aubrey Grahm from Degrassi would be there.

I am soooo regreting that I didn't go...
OMG Rosie AND Degrassi! bring this to LA!
Shane Kippel and Adamo Ruggiero.. mmm
I have met Stacey, Aubrey, Adamo and Andrea before- really nice people.
Kind of lame about the age limit restriction, or I so would have gone!
yeh, that bites!
They weren't strict on the age limit there, they didn't even check. There was a girl who asked the cast a question and she said she was 21.
Thank you for the pictures! I love both the SA and Degrassi folk.
i sat onstage, and the event was tons of fun. combined some of my favorite people!
thanks for the pictures, im in one of them! watch access holly wood tonight, i think theres coverage from yesterday.
Thats amazing.
I had no idea this occurred. I so would have gone.
Did Rosie mention it on the View today?

Thank you so much for the pictures! I have also met a fraction of the Degrassi cast and they're truly wonderful people.
Oh, and Stacey Farber is absolutely gorgeous. And Adamo is looking very yummy.
Any idea when this webcast will be up?
May 14th.
Entertainment Tonight was there so maybe there'll be a segment about the thing on ET tonight.
And yeah, they weren't checking to see if anyone was over 20. My friend who's 24 got in with no problem.
I didn't see much of The View today, but she didn't mention it when I was watching. I would guess that she probably said something though before yet another debate about politics. And yeah, if ET was there, I'd watch tonight or sometime this week to see it on there.
Here are some more pictures of this
