jv92 - I completely disagree with you, actually. The show wasn't shallow - they dared to go "there." In this day and age, going "there" in nearly every medium gets people up in arms and ultimately ends up stifling creativity. For them to put up what they did, I give them the world of credit. Duncan, Steven, Michael, and the producers should be commended for putting it up in a market where almost only familiar properties sell.
It was a beautiful show. I loved the music. I loved the staging. I LOVED the music. I just didn't think that it all added up to a memorable evening.
