Posted: 2/23/08 at 8:03pmI just bought 2 for March 2, and there are a bunch around that date in march. Just giving the heads up because I thought they were sold out till June 30.

FYI: they only release stage seats a month at a time. March's just went on general sale yesterday, I think.
It's never consistent and keeps everyone guessing...but it seems to keep the scalpers from getting too many.

Posted: 2/23/08 at 8:16pmOhh, I was under the impression they released the whole block in a set of months like the do with the regular tickets and were waiting to release the block from June 30th to August 30th. Well I already bought mine and am very excited to see the show.

I just bought two on stage tickets for March 9, 7:00pm.
Row AA seats 5-7. Are these okay?
I wouldn't have seen the show if it weren't for the on-stage seats..I don't like the music too much but I don't wanna not see it at all.

Posted: 2/23/08 at 10:31pmYeah, I want to get on stage seats for April 5, @ 2:00... it says they aren't available...are they sold out or not on sale yet?
-Jeff Bowen's worst onstage line flub.

They are probably not on sale yet.
40 dollars a ticket, plus the fees, comes out to almost 50 bucks. That ain't cheap.

Posted: 2/24/08 at 3:31amThe time I sat onstage was with my friend in AA 5-7 and we loved it, I felt they were the best seats.

Wait until they release those seats for May- watch how quickly the May 18 seats go.

AA 5 & 6 are great seats, however, I never think stage seats are best for your first SA experience. The show is not staged for the onstage seats but very traditionally for the house seats. So there many scenes where you will lose facial expressions. There are some MUSICAL numbers that are much more intense from stage than the house, because you feel as though you are part of them.
I know there are many diverse feelings about SA...personally, I love it and am very drawn to many aspects about it. It's not for everyone, but I hope you enjoy.
April STAGE seats have NOT yet gone on sale and it will probably be close to a month before they do. You just have to be diligent checking. If you are, you shouldn't have any problems. I have attempted to get stage seats four times and gotten them for the exact performance date each time.
Yes...5/18 will be crazy. People going nuts waiting for them. Although last I heard you could still purchase REGULAR seats for both shows that date. (for those that don't know, it's Groff and Lea's last day...although SHE hasn't confirmed this to my knowledge...but no on sees her staying once Groff leaves.)

Posted: 2/24/08 at 12:38pmI'm straining at the leash to get those May 18 stage seats. People are going to be killing eachother for them.

OH...and the new buzz is that it MIGHT be Blake Bashoff's last performance as well. In speaking with him, he did verify that his current contract was up on the same date...but that he didn't know yet what he would do.
Now with the writer's strike over, the talk is that he has tv committments and he will be leaving...but note: thats just the rumors.
What a show to see.

Interesting...
I would love to see them on their last day, but I don't think I'd be able to get tickets...I'm just not that lucky lol.
maybe I'll go again in April...

Maybe Bashoff has to go back to Hawaii to film more episodes of Lost. As of last week, his character was still very much alive.
And yes, both shows on 5/18 are still available. Full price, however. I've already got tickets, on the assumption that if I happen to get an onstage seat, it will not be hard to sell the regular seats.

Well I cant wait to see Spring Awakening for the first time! Couple questions, sorry if they have been asked before.
Anyone know why the price of on-stage seats got changed from $31 to $40.
I got AA seats 7 and 9. Apparently they are also called boob side seats?
How comfortable are the wooden chairs?
I heard that the actors in SA never leave the stage and they sit amongst the on-stage audience, is this true, and if so who sits where?

Thanks.

"Anyone know why the price of on-stage seats got changed from $31 to $40. "
-Because they can. People are willing to pay it, so why not?
"I got AA seats 7 and 9. Apparently they are also called boob side seats?"
The odd numbered seats are where you get a view of Lea Michele's (or whoever is playing Wendla's) breast. The even numbered seats are where you get a view of Groff's butt. Hence, boob side and butt side.
"How comfortable are the wooden chairs?"
Honestly, they're horrendously uncomfortable. I was also afraid to move the tiniest bit when I was sitting there, because I had this horrible fear that I would trip one of the cast members.
"I heard that the actors in SA never leave the stage and they sit amongst the on-stage audience, is this true, and if so who sits where? "
Yes. If you do a search here this a diagram somewhere of which seats belong to which cast member.

Posted: 2/24/08 at 7:40pmI'm pretty sure our seats are right next to some of the ensemble or cast sits. I'll let my girlfriend sit there and hope she gets scared when they get up and start singing.
