Just reminding people that a segment on the show will be on The Today Show tomorrow. The segment on the show should air around 8:30-9:00. The segment is featuring interviews with Groff,Gallagher, and Lea. Fans interviews will also be shown.

Actually, it's April 26th, not 27th on the Today show. They are on Good Morning NY on the 27th.

are they gonna sing though? I know you didn't mention it but I am just eager since I am a new fan!

I just saw Duncan Sheik perform the opening night of his concert tour in SF and he was amazing.

He performed songs from his previous works and 3 songs from SA....Mama Who Bore Me, Touch Me and I Don't do Sadness.

He brought a string quartet and the keyboardist and female vocalist Haley who also opened for him.

It's a great segment, airing in the 8:44-8:50ish segment... It covers the subject of the show and fan reaction, including parent perspectives. Very thorough piece.

Very well done by Meredith Viera. There were no live performances, just studio interviews with the three principals mentioned, and the fan segment was cool. I wonder if any of them post here.
And of course there were several taped segments of the show itself.

Coincidently, this makes me want to go see it by myself (there's another thread going on that subject today).

So are they actually on the Today Show today late in the show? I have it on and it is 8:00am here in Denver.

Edit: It is on today. They just announced it for the last 1/2 hour.

It is on the Today show's website also. Very good segment. I liked the way parents were interviewed.

According to their Myspace page, they are on Good Day New York tomorrow!

Thanks for posting the video. That was a well-done segment.

ABS, I kind of agree that the standing mics were unnecessary. It's enough that they have handheld mics for all the songs. Eh, I think it works either way. It wasn't distracting to me except for a couple moments here and there. Then again I saw it in previews so it's probably cleaned up now. Definitely worth seeing.

I love how she said "Parents should check it out to make sure it's ok for their kids." Isn't that sort of the opposite of the point?

I just finished watching it on my DVR and thought it was a great piece done on the show.
