#1Spring Awakening seating question
Posted: 1/10/08 at 1:17pmI have an opportunity to get Orchestra Row B seats 5-7 for a performance of Spring Awakening. Will these be good seats? Will the on stage seating block the view of the stage from there? Please let me know. Thanks!

Posted: 1/10/08 at 5:18pmI don't think the on-stage seating blocks anyone's view, no matter where you are in the theater. It's slight recessed, and everything you need to see takes place center or downstage.

Posted: 1/10/08 at 7:27pmThose seats are fine. Your view is obstructed slightly if you sit on the extreme sides. Even then, you don't miss much (mostly what goes on in the onstage seating area of the side you are sitting on). Have fun!

Just bumping this because it doesn't warrant another thread:
I did some last minute rushing and picked up Spring Awakening tickets for tonight to appease my Valentine. They are row J of the mezzanine, so aside from his obvious complaining (I have only seen Sweeney from Row C of the orchestra, so I have no idea how huge the theatre is) are these seats as lame as they look on the seating chart?

honestly, in december, i got tickets for me and 2 friends as a last minute christmas gift...we were in the LAST row of the entire theatre, and the seats were fine...you can see everything, sure you are far away, but it's not a huge theater, so you will be able to see just fine....
have a great time with your valentine! :) mine is taking me to see August:Osage County...

Row J isn't that bad. Sure, it's a bit up there, but it's not like it's going to seriously alter your enjoyment of the show. You'll be fine -- have fun at the show!

Posted: 2/14/08 at 2:50pmThanks guys. They are off to the right (8 and 10) but not too bad. I got there at like 12:30 (slept in instead of rushing to rush) so I guess that is what I deserve.

Im likely to be buying tickets for a performance in may soon. Im not too sure about the seats I should buy. Can anybody give me their two cents
Right or Left Orchestra Row C seats 5-11
Row G seats 5-11
Center Orchestra Row O-T
Front Mezzanine Row B and C
What do you guys suggest. I saw the show once before on stage and I want to get the best possible seats to see the whole production. Thank you for your input.

Posted: 3/19/08 at 10:42pmRow C on the side orchestra? Right now Im contemplating between Front Mezzanine Row A (is there a bar blocking your sightline) or the side Orchestra rows that are really close. Any further opinions?
