Fraser's voice and talent makes it tolerable, but honestly it's only 80 minutes and it felt reeeeeeally long. I admire her being that great and invested and only calling for line twice (instead of line, she screams the f word in character and you hear her being prompted). The story is an ok episode of say, The Twilight Zone but hardly worth that long a piece.

When I saw it, it was a few minutes shy of 2 hours. Have they cut 30 minutes from it? It's a problem when the writer is the same as the director. A good director would have cut about an hour from the tale.
It starts to pick up before the end, but before that, I had no idea what was going on. There was a steady trickle of people getting up and walking out. The writer forgot the most important thing: "LESS IS MORE"

I thought this show was incredible and absolutely riveting start to finish. Fraser's performance is really incredible. Her and the writing compliment each other very well. I'm usually not one that enjoys one person shows, but I was really blown away with this. When I saw it it also was about 1 hour and 50 minutes, and it really flew by for me.
It's one of the best performances I have seen all year. I'm planning on catching it again before it closes.

When Previews first started the show was definitely running about 1hr 50 minutes. The show tightened with each preview, and now Alison delivers this 45 page monologue in a spine-chilling 85-90 minutes.

I really enjoyed this, it is basically a solo show starring Alison Fraser with an extremely minimal set in the dark. She is sitting in a chair the whole time holding a coffee cup having a conversation her therapist. It is a pretty intense performance and she knocks it out of the park. The subject matter might not be everyone's cup of tea but I was on the edge of my seat. When I went the show was about 90 minutes. I definitely recommend this and if you somehow got a ticket for that cheap go for it. One of the better shows I have seen off-broadway this Fall.
