Like 2 hours for Raul Esparza and then I left

re: Stage Door

Anywhere from 10 min for an entire Off Broadway cast to come out up to 2 hours (in 20 degree weather with strong winds) for Fantasia to come out of the stage door of Color Purple. When she left, she didn't want to sign - there were some pissed off people...let me tell you that much. I waited about an hour for Bernadette Peters and about 90 minutes for Hugh Jackman. In general I haven't had to wait more than between a half an hour and 45 minutes for the whole cast to get out. Sometimes there are exceptions, or if there is a celebrity in the cast.

That really wasn't my intention. I just wanted to thank the people who responded to my question.

re: Stage Door

I waited about 25-35 minutes outside of Spamalot. That was only because the only people who came out were Tom Deckman, Rick Holmes, and Hannah Waddingham. We were told everyone else left. I left because of that, but also because it was getting late out, and I ended up waiting in Penn Station until almost midnight by myself. I figured I was safer at least inside there than standing outside waiting for people who probably weren't around anymore.

re: Stage Door

Less than 10 minutes for all 4 lead original cast members of Jersey Boys. They were all so nice and signed my Playbill and allowed me to take photos.

I waited an hour for Vanessa Williams to come out of the Palace Theatre after her holiday show Silver and Gold in 2004. She was the nicest person and took the time to sign anything you wanted her to. Her youngest daughter was with her passing her the appropriate color sharpie marker for what she was signing.
