Hi,
I was wonder what is the amount of time you have waited at the stage door?
Diane
Um, for who?
8 hours at the Cort Theatre during Nicole Kidman's limited run in THE BLUE ROOM.
For anyone.

15 minutes for Idina and Kristin. Kristin left from another entrance we were told and I never saw Idina. I left. it was drizzling and it really wasn't worth it.
20 minutes for the cast of "The Little Mermaid" during the Denver run. Sheri and Sean left through the front of the theater. The rest came out of the stage door and were extremely nice. I heard Sheri had her child here with her who was under the weather so she wanted to get back to him. (I think she has a son)
I waited about half an hour the other day at Xanadu. Some came out within fifteen minutes, but it took Tony Roberts and Mary Testa a while. When I left, Cheyenne still hadn't come out.
Thanks for answering!

We waited for over an hour for Patti and Michael after Sweeney. It was worth it though, beacuse most of the crowd was gone and they were both very nice. Besides that I find that usually about half and hour and you get everyone.

the most i ever had to wait was for whoever plays frankie valli for jersey boys, because its such a demanding role, he requires a vocal warm down after every performance so u usually have to wait 45min to an hour for him
Rent - 30 Minutes while Adam and Anthony were around
Wicked - 15 but because block was sick she didnt come out
ITH - Previews, waited for like 20 minutes but only two people came out
Chicago - 20 Minutes
Legally Blonde - 10 Minutes before a minor actor comes out, another 5-10 til someone like LBB or Orfeh comes out.
I once waited for more than an hour at the National Theatre in London and then left while the cast was still boozing it up in the bar upstairs. Theatres should not have bars that are exclusively for the cast/crew/staff!
DRS was a good half hour before norbert leo butz and jon pryce came out.
Sweeney i waited 45 minutes as well for patti and michael.
Spring Awakening i waited for like 40 minutes but everyone was out and i was talking to alot of the cast members.
The most I've ever waited was an hour, but most of the time it's under 30min depending on how many people I'm waiting for.
Somewhat over an hour the first time I met Hugh Panaro at "The Phantom of the Opera."
However, about half of that doesn't count as waiting because, after the rest of the cast left, I pretty much assumed he wasn't around and was just standing around talking with a nice woman who'd been waiting with her daughter. It was just by chance we were still standing there when he walked by and stopped to talk to us.
It was over 90 degrees, humid, and there was an idling tour bus spewing nasty exhaust fumes, but it turned out to be worth the wait.
I waited for about an hour for Raul Esparza after "Company". But it was so worth it. David Hyde Pierce after "Curtains" took a little over half an hour. Howard McGillin after "Phantom" also took about 30 minutes, although that's understandable considering all the makeup that he has to take off.
Whoever is playing the Phantom usually takes the longest to come out. That is because of the makeup. But, I have heard of some actors who played the role who were able to get it off pretty fast.
The most I've waited was a little over an hour. I generally don't like to wait that long.

Just to avoid disappointment - some actors don't leave the theater between matinee and evening performances.
