I've never gone to a performance of Shakespeare in the Park and this year I'm trying to go to both "As You Like It" and "Into the Woods". Wondering if there is such as thing as a "stage door" experience for the Delacorte Theater. Thanks in advance!
The stage door is at the southeast side of the theater, by Gate 1. If you're not on the list they'll ask you to line up alone the path leading out from there and the cast will come sign, take pictures etc. for everyone there. I am not sure how it will be with a big star in the cast, but that's where it is, at least.
But the cast can still leave a different way and everytime I've tried, they have.
Has anyone tried to mail anything to a performer during a run?
Thanks for the information! At least I know there is a stage door, and I can go and attempt to meet who I'm looking for. I'll update if / when I get tickets with who I see! For "As You Like It," I'm really hoping to meet Andre Braugher.

When Al Pacino was doing Merchant there, I know he came out there and signed for everyone.

It might make sense to address any mail to the actor c/o the Public Theater at 425 Lafayette - don't think the Central Park venue accepts mail since it is not an established theater location. Anyone know anything different?
