Stage Musical ABOUT Astaire & Rogers?

Does one exist?
Years back, I recall seeing an adaptation of one of their films on Broadway, but can’t find evidence of any piece that traced the duo’s career.


Been wondering this since reading of the Astaire biopic with Tom Holland in the works. I could see a piece where numbers from their stage work and films interpolated in with some originals. Heaven knows who they could cast in the leads.

A stage version of "Top Hat" played the West End, and toured the UK in on and off from 2011-2015. There was a rumour of it coming over, but nothing materialized.
