I staged door twice. Once after I saw it on a Sunday and also that next Wednesday. The first time only a few came out. Paul, Poppy, Anto, Edward (Amos, Dumbledore), Joey (Victor Krum, etc.) and Lauren (Moaning Myrtle, etc.) came out. When I staged door Wednesday way more people came out. Paul, Poppy, Anto and Sam staged door and then a lot of the ensemble. Everyone from Sunday did Wednesday except Joey. I was surprised Sam didn’t Sunday because I heard he stage doors more than Anto, but it was amazing. They will sign anything, they will take pictures, they are all so sweet. They will also answer what their favorite spell is. The stage door is also nice because it is very long so people don’t have to pile on top of each other. As for the theater goers and people standing in line at the stage door, Sunday everyone was so sweet and helping each other, Wednesday there was a few rude people. But honestly one of the best stage doors I have been too!
Did Stage door last night: Paul Thornley, Katie Kreisler, Poppy Miller, Anthony Boyle, Joey Labrasca,Lauren Nicole Cipoletti, Joshua De Jesus, Jack Hatcher, Susan Heyward, Edward James Hyland and Alanna Saunders all came out and signed and posed for pictures with everyone. It was a very chill stage door because of how long the barricades go. Everyone was very friendly and chatty. Alot of them complimented me on my slythrin necklace. Fun stage door!

You guys do know this is stalking, right? I mean, catching them on their way in? It's stalking, plain and simple. I should know. I stalked actors at stage doors when I was younger (and much less people did it). I know what I did though. I stalked them.
Oh and when I did it (back in the 90s), there were no barricades. Hardly anyone there. I would go in the stage door and wait with the doorman for the actor I wanted to see. Sometimes, l even went to their dressing room. Y'all would do that now if you were allowed to (or that gumption to try). Because you're not there for an autograph. Please.

Why are you even on here? No one said anything about doing it before. Many, many people stage door after, and a lot of the performers like to sign and interact with people. You seem to be the stalker, not us. You don't have to be rude about it.

It's not legally stalking. NY's least offensive degree of stalking requires that the conduct be likely to cause reasonable fear of mental or physical harm or reasonable fear that employment is threatened as a result of the conduct. However, that doesn't make waiting at the stage door for autographs from people you don't know any less appropriate. However, actors and even theaters have allowed this type of behavior to occur, so people who stage door aren't entirely in the wrong (and I bet many, if not most, simply see people at the stage door and decide to join, something they most likely would not have done). Isn't stage door-ing relatively rare on tour? Since most of those stage doors are in remote areas from where the audience enters or exits, only people who make an actually effort may do it. I agree that it is stalking, but in the broad, non-legal application of the term.
Stalking? I would tell you how stupid you sound, but I can't use that kind of language on this board..

Any recent experiences from this? Who has been coming out? Seeing it this weekend.

I just finished up with it and everybody came out except Parker, Price, and Thornley. Dumezweni came out and we wished Hermione a happy birthday which she laughed about. I was happy Boyle and Clemmett (Albus) came out to say hello, sweet boys, as well as Jessie Fisher (Delphi).
Noma didn't come out when I attended, but I was thrilled to catch her after a benefit performance at Joe's Pub earlier this week and added her signature to my program book.
